New accelerometers from Analog Devices are 3-axis MEMS systems for use in industrial failure detection. They have low values of their own noise and temperature drift. The power needed to operate the MEMS is small, so it can be used in wireless systems. They measure the vibration values and the inclination of the surface.
Accelerometers differ in the type of outputs. The ADXL356 has analogue outputs and the ADXL357 model has digital outputs the SPI or I2C. The maximum drift value at 0g is 0.75 mg/degree Celsius. Housing designed for both systems is the LCC-14.
